Beginning April 11, only registered driver and/or car owner can check in his or her car. Check in closes at 7:15 p.m.

Attention:

For the 2009 season-- There will be NO Pit Exchanges. A minor's release is required for anyone under 18. Both parents must sign the release. If both parents are not present at the time of signing the release, they will need to take the minor's release with them and sign in front of a notary before allowed in the pit area.

Racing on Saturday Nights

Gates Open @ 6 p.m. Racing Starts @ 8 p.m.

General Admission-$10.00 for adults

Kids (ages 6-10) ticket prices will be $5.00. Kids 5 & under will remain free.

Senior Citizens ticket price will be $8.00 for 62 and older.

Please note - anyone who appears to be under the age of 21 will be required to provide proof of age upon request during the registration process. This proof of age may be in the form of a government issued ID or certified birth certificate. With the exception of the Junior Mini class, NO ONE UNDER THE AGE OF 16 WILL BE ALLOWED TO RACE. Junior Mini drivers must be at least 13 years old and proof of age will be required at the time of registration for ALL Junior Mini drivers.

As of Jan .1,2008, our insurance carrier now requires any one 17 years and under to have a "Parental Consent, Release and Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity Agreement" form 1068 signed by both parents before entering a restricted area such as the Pits. We have always required this form but with only one parents signature. We also do require an armband for anyone entering the pit area and discourage parents taking small children into that area. If anyone would like the form mailed to them then please send an email to info@thunderbirdspeedway.net and I will mail them one. If the form is signed away from the race track then both parents signatures must be notarized by a notary. Thank you, Melissa Barker

WELCOME, Racefans!! This is the official website for the oldest continuously operated dirt track in Texas. We offer a competitive race program and payout. Thunderbird Speedway is a family friendly environment with plenty of parking, seating and two full service concession stands.

Check the events calendar for special events for the kids. We at Thunderbird Speedway believe if it ain't fun, it ain't racing!!! Join us each and every Saturday night for the best racing action in Texas.

ATTENTION YOUTH SPORTS ORGANIZATIONS

We offer free admission to all youth sports organization participants. All Team members must be wearing a part of their uniform (jersey, shirt, hat, etc) and be accompanied by at least one ADULT paid admission per team. This offer only applies to sports organizations that come as a group ( 10 or more team participants) and not to single participants wearing uniforms. Contact our office for additional details.
